LANTERN COMPETITION

We welcome you to enter the contest and show off your wonderful creative minds.

Remember, your lanterns must be home-made and we dare you to go wild with it.

There will be prizes for the winners and happy summer memories for everyone else!

REGISTRATION FORM

The Vietnamese Lantern Competition has always been an attention-grabber. Contestants are encouraged to create lanterns and submit them for grading. On the day of our event, we will showcase your lanterns for the public to see. How will we determine who wins? There will be public voting as well as judges to consider who has the BEST lantern.

You can craft your amazing lanterns by yourself, or as a team if your friends and family want to join in on the fun. The more, the merrier.

Keep in mind, you’ll be judged for originality, craftsmanship, and the meaningful story behind the lantern.

If you would like to participate, please see the requirements in “Rules & Regulations” and fill out the “Registration Form” and return it to the VWAT Family Services office (1756 St. Clair Ave W).

Deadline to enter the competition is August 28!

Prizes:

First place: $100 Visa Gift Card
Second place: $50 Bon Appétit Restaurant Gift Card
3rd place: $25 Cineplex Gift Card

Remember, this is all about fun with your family and friends; don’t get glue stuck everywhere!
